About this course
Representing a member in a formal meeting is the part of the role most reps feel least prepared for. This course builds directly on the induction and procedures training and focuses on doing it well in practice.
Run jointly by UTU, INTO and NEU, the day is built around case studies and practice rather than lecture, with plenty of opportunity to work through realistic scenarios.

Preparing a case: evidence, chronology and identifying the real issue
Your role in a formal meeting and the limits of the right to be accompanied
Presenting a case clearly and putting questions effectively
