Daily Supply Rate
Divide annual salary by 195 teaching days. Example: M2 2025 = £32,916 ÷ 195 = £168.80/day.
Moving to Upper Pay Scale
After one year on M6 you can apply via the Threshold Process, assessed by your Principal. UPS2/3 require successful PRSD reviews.
Teaching Allowances (TA)
Awarded for additional responsibilities and paid on top of your base salary. TA1–TA5 range from £2,505 to £16,135 in 2025.
SEN Allowances
Added to base salary for teachers with designated SEN responsibilities. SEN1 = £2,717 / SEN2 = £5,362 from September 2025.
