Win £500 to Spend on School Resources
Primary schools in Northern Ireland have the chance to win £500 to spend on school resources by completing a short questionnaire on wraparound care in their schools.
Local Charity Employers For Childcare Charitable Group has identified that there is a lack of information available to parents about the availability of out of school provision in primary schools (e.g. breakfast clubs, 2-3 clubs, after-school clubs, and holiday schemes). This provision is also known as wraparound care.
All Primary Schools in Northern Ireland will be invited to take part in the survey and we want to hear from both schools that offer provision as well as those that do not. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey today.
Nora Smith Policy and Information Manager commented:
“The survey findings will be collated into a report and will enable us to obtain a true picture of the level of provision that exists and the challenges faced by primary schools in Northern Ireland, particularly given the fragility of the current economic climate.
The information we receive from schools through the survey will also inform a report which will be used to lobby Government on the need to invest in out of school services both in schools and in partnership with other schools/agencies.”
Remember, all participating schools will be entered into a draw to win £500 to spend on school resources. Click here to complete the survey or go to our website.
