Where can I get further information regarding possible Swine Flu Pandemic 

If you have had a pupil or member of staff from the school who has recently returned from a Swine Flu affected country and who has suffered a flu-like illness and you need public health information whilst awaiting results of testing, this can be obtained from the Operation Centre, that has been set up for dealing with cases, on the following numbers – (028) 9055 3997 or (028) 9055 3994.  Please do not use these numbers for any other reasons, or for general information, as they have been set up for dealing with possible cases only.

 Should I be providing hand sanitisers in the school?

 There is no need to provide hand sanitisers in schools.  However, it is important that all schools have proper hand washing and drying facilities in their toilets, including hot and cold water, liquid soap and paper towels or hot air dryers, which are available at all times.
